As a Senior Environmental Consultant at DevineAir Limited, my days are spent traveling to industrial and commercial facilities across the UK, conducting meticulous LEV testing in full compliance with HSE standards.
The process involves precision at every step:
- Comprehensive visual inspections of extraction systems, hoods, ductwork, filters, and airflow paths.
- Accurate measurement of airflow, static pressure, and face velocity.
- Evaluations of capture efficiency through smoke testing.
- Clearly labelling systems that meet compliance—and providing actionable advice for those that don’t.
