DevineAir Ltd can carry out BS4142 noise surveys to assess the likely impact of industrial and commercial noise sources at noise sensitive premises. These will be required by Local Authorities to ensure noise impact to local receptors is kept to a minimum.
This will be completed by gaining a baseline measurement of prevailing background noise without the noise source in operation, followed by an assessment of the noise emissions from the source of industrial noise. If the noise source is not yet operational, an acoustic calculation will be undertaken to predict the level of noise emissions. If the noise source is operational measurements will be conducted at the closest sensitive receptor.
The level of noise impact is compared to standards according to BS4142:2014, Our conultants will recommend and assess appropriate mitigation measures to protect from noise if required. We can also provide a report for submission to your Local Authority for your planning application.
